The Resource Area will be a dedicated area of this website that users will need to register and log in to access. The Resource Area is not currently live on the website, as we would like to test the documents we have produced, before they are made public. We have therefore made this page specifically for the user testing and are providing documents via Dropbox for this test. When the Resource Area is added to the website (after the test and refinement), this is what visitors will experience:
When visitors arrive at the website a button will be displayed on the main Navigation Bar enabling visitors to register or log in to the Resource Area.
Once logged in, visitors will see a short description of the aims of the Resource Area, with links to either download, or access resources online.
It will read as follows:
Welcome to the Playable City Community
Our vision is to establish a global network of people making and shaping their city through playful interventions. This site will act as a home for sharing tools, ideas, projects and methodologies, to strengthen all of our work. To begin, we have shared some of the insights we have gained from making work in Bristol, Lagos, Recife and Tokyo.
Become a Playable City
If you would like your city to become a Registered Playable City, use this form to tell us what you have in place and what you are already doing, and the team will be in touch.

An online form designed to help you to explore whether you have the necessary elements in place to deliver a Playable City programme.
Playable City Slack
A community needs a place to talk and share ideas. We have chosen to use Slack, a realtime messaging tool for this. If you are not familiar with Slack you can read more about it here. If you would like to be added to the Playable City Slack group, fill in this super quick form (sadly Slack does not allow us to automatically signs up all community members).

A set of presentation slides in three formats (Keynote, Powerpoint and PDF) that you can use in talks, workshops or meetings to present Playable City
Project videos and talks from previous Playable City Awards, Labs and Conferences
If you are interested in hosting an existing Playable City project in your city, these documents will provide more information about available projects, installation specifications and logistics.
If you don’t see what you need, would like to contribute some thinking/resources or don’t understand how to use this site, please get in touch.
