Applications received from around the world

Application for entries to the Playable City Award 2014 closed on 11 April. We are very excited to have received applications from 29 countries and from artists, designers, musicians, architects and visionaries from around the world.

We invited creative practitioners of all disciplines from across the globe to pitch ideas responding to the notion of cities as playable, configurable and malleable spaces. We are delighted to have received an incredible range and breadth of ideas from China to Costa Rica and from Uganda to Iraq.

Stats fans amongst you might be interested to hear that entries this year came:
42% from the UK
36% from the rest of Europe
10% from North America
12% from elsewhere in the World
